Characteristics of Armed Subjects: Identifying the Threat

During this training course, we will discuss common traits of persons armed with various weapons.

Participants will receive instruction on specific movements of armed subjects, clothing, subject actions, methods used to carry/conceal firearms, bladed weapons and concealment, and avoidance techniques used by suspects.

This course will be delivered in 2 hours, or in greater detail in a 1-2 day training academy, depending on the organizational need.

This training is designed for line staff, first level supervisors in Law Enforcement, Probation, Community Corrections, Parole, Court Officers, Security, and Business Personnel.
