Cultural Competency   

This training course is designed to guide participants through a series of exercises, discussions, group interactions, and teamwork focused activities all aimed at broadening their ideas about culture and competency as it relates to promoting respect, healthy core values, and its relationship to employees, clients, and the community.

Participants will be able to examine their own attitudes and beliefs, while observing the same in others and weighing those values relative to their organization’s values and competencies.

This course will be delivered, in part, as an introductory piece 2 hours, or in greater detail in a 1-3 day training class, depending on the organizational need.

This training is for line staff, first level supervisors, and upper level supervisors in Law Enforcement, Probation, Community Corrections, Parole, Judicial Personnel, and Business Professionals.
